Thomas Beatie was a woman before he became a pregnant man. He decided to have a baby, saying he had a “right to have a biological child.” After legal changing the gender, removing breasts and growing a beard, Thomas Beatie (pregnant man) decided to keep his female sex organs for a moment when he wants to have a child.

Pregnant man told in an interview that his reproductive female organs are able to have children. He became pregnant after an impregnating with a sperm from a donor.

First Thomas (Tracy before changing the gender) felt the desire to have male body after becoming a finalist of Miss Hawaii USA in his 20s. That days he begun to take testosterone and had a beard growing.

Beatie and Nancy tried to conceive once before carrying with him the child, but the pregnancy was not viable because the fertilized egg has implanted outside the uterus. It was difficult for them to find a doctor who was willing to help them conceive.

Pregnant man and his wife were surprised when their family and neighbours have reacted in different ways. Nancy’s daughters supported them, instead of Thomas brother who said that it was good thing first pregnancy failed. George and Victoria, their neighbours, said they were surprised.

Beatie said he and his wife are legally married because Beatie is legally a man. They plan to male a happy family of their daughter. “The love of a family and that’s all that matters,” pregnant man said.
